GCVRD Drift Session

.RSG., ARYNZ, LUKO

Tripples FTW, Gold Coast Represent.

I was really enjoying setting the line.

We were circulating well, and picked up another.

Cranking the JZX to 11!

There's always activity behind. sometimes caused by the lead, sometimes biff and barge behind.

This is tough and it doesn't always work out... small mistake on a wall touch can be dramatic..

Another leader with some good dantai spacing behind = no crash.

End to end off the faster corners.

High speed entry...

and a loooooooong corner exit. ooooh yeah!

Swap spots and do it again.

GCVRD - Gold Coast VR Drift.

VaRiety

VR and Assetto Corsa is very freaking good value for money. The game cost $24 and so far all mods have been free.

500 Cars plus countless liveries and 200 tracks with heaps of variations and even more

VR and F1 are amazing.

I'm not far off the pace for my first run. Thats pretty good.

Braking points are soooooooooo much deeper.

Relax at Shibaura...

but not for long.

S2000 Turbo! good for well over 260

Teaching my friend the C1 Shuto

This is where the speed camera is. On the left as you come over the crest,

Busted...

It's amazing how detailed the key building are.  as you come around this bend is the apartment I'd like to live in.

After that Drift.

This one is for Aki.

Although I don't think he'd do this in his Mines GT-R

Shinagawa 666 Yo!

Japan Again?!

Matsugaoka? Okutama is certainly not 11km from Chiba.

but this fake circuit in an F1 car is amazing.

VR f1 --- sound plus grip OMG!

speed builds your reflexes for sure.

Back at tokyo C1 with a friend this time.

I was happy to hunt, but eventually local knowledge saw me lead.

Fuji Speedway... not today...

inside is a nice place with some boosted turbines behind your head!

yes, the go to this much trouble to model everything.

But you can't trow away your drift skills.

Keep it up!

Japan Drive

From temples ...

to central Tokyo...

I'll drive my 288 GTO round the C1

Past Nihonbashi and Hakozaki

One Lap... rest and can coffee at the Shibaura PA.

how about two laps.  Lets go!

then Head up to Ebisu Kita

San-patsu over the crest and hook it!

To some Fake Circuit outside Shibuya. ???

Get some doors with Friends online.

For the most part everything is modelled to nth degree.

Not everything is accurate of course.  195/60/14 on a Chaser... I don't think so.

 Yokohama Docks...

and reflect on the moon rise.

 Oops...

Maybe there's a chaser at the bottom of Tokyo Bay.

Learning to Angle Up!

This Z from Tando Buddies is something different to the others.

the angle of the front wheels is increased.

You can crank it up so much you almost never spin

However, that means the steering rack operates faster so choosing a lower faster angle is a bit more difficult.

Enjoy everything.
