RE-Xtreme FD3s x many

 

Like most people in the assetto world, you want to drive those cars that inspire you. 

I have owned 3 FD3s IRL and on the quest to recreate those machines.

Along the way... we get to sample them all. Fujita Eng. GT3 by Trawa  

This one is a mix from a few sources. cleaned up. 

but how many are there. there are many more rx7's out there, Pan speed, mazdaspeed etc etc 

And then you add the variations to wheels and paint. 

And then the liveries. Styles and others.

Drive, Drift, Enjoy.

Rip it and kill some tyres.

Small Wheelin

Small cars also got some attention. A big power SPL version of the AE86

Now matches the N1 AE86

which also matches the N1 MR2.

Around the mid 80's 14 and 15 Inch rims were still the norm. so sometimes instead of going larger diameter, you just go wider.

3ds max also opened up the ability to mod the moving spoiler on the GTS-R31.

A few variations now include a racepak dash and some additional mods. 

Team Moccmans have that other distinctive style. 

After the Sil80 was prepped, I moved onto this D-Max style S14. I chopped a few things as I am starting to learn more 3ds max. .

Mad Mike is a hard core rotary fiend. not until you start replicating them do you realize you are replicating years of his work and many many cars.

Starting with the ones that use the BN Body... "Fursty" 3 Rotor

Then the Start of the 4 rotor Bulls.

This one is still WIP. as the livery is not yet recreated from scratch.

One of my problems is that I have to finish things... and that means a lot more to do.

We then set about replicating his track time. Hampton downs.

And some extras like mike vs Mike @ Riga. 

And Mike vs Mike Vs Haraguchi vs Mike @ Red Bull Stadium.

These have injected some fun... Nomura vs RSG vs Naoki vs Mike vs Yokoi

which led to the next round... 

1000000 Updates = Madface

 

Once you start this process of modding... there is no end. Constant updates as you learn new things has you revising everything. 

The last blog was around the time I remapped the AO on the BN Sports machine. which allowed me to add BN Sports Haruguchi and that led to the Lead / Madface team cars. 

this then made me look at the lack of dash... so in went the beautiful racepak from assetto labs.
