Sanity Checks

This month is hectic.

Started with some ADC S15 liveries and .RSG. car tune,

Testing at the Spit.

Zenra Matsuri @ Hashiriya Tokyo's servers is fun.

SRP cars are good for a blast.

heading into the forests

go go go !!! be brave

Some new versions for RE-Amemiya and Moccomans drifties.

The Team Spec of 550hp seems nice to play with.

Rip everything

Sometimes you need more.

When we watch comps like Formula D and D1Gp we get the urge.

But they never have 4 way battles in Formula D Japan.

It gets very intense.

But lower the power and grip just a little and we all have a lot of fun.

Trains and battles

From the Northern Rivers of Australia

Door to Door at Teven Road.

to Door to Door at Suzuka Japan.

The "Sliders" Crew have developed in 2020

now it's just great fun every time out.

Special shout out the boys especially Luko, Ayrnz, Sol, Jakesy, Wellsy that it make it fun to slide on a regular basis and of course all the others in the Assetto Community that keep the content pouring out and the variety endless.

It keeps me sane and level in a time of personal stress during uncertain times.

The Special Spec

Sliders is about sliding... Grip sucks.

And reality can FO

Bringing back a bit of 2003 when grip was hardly thought of.

Neova was as good as you got, and that was about 200 treadwear.

with 600 hp its still good enough to schred

BOOT IN!

PRO style

PRO Result... ish

We are not 18 years old with reflexes of youth. So why the hell would you want to make a leisurely hobby stimulate your fast twitch muscle groups.

intensity goes way up, concentration goes way up.

the lines and proximity can change in an instant.

Straights disappear in just a few seconds

Speed makes you crazy!

A different challenge.

So whats better..?

Smokey fight for traction or grippy predictable smoothness.

violent sharp and intense speed changes

or progressive transitions

Peaky spikes in wheel speed.

Controlled throttle inputs

Tyre hammering throttle are addictive.

But the results are the same no matter what you drift.

When you get proximity... is it for a shorter time...? I'll leave that argument because it depends on the track speed. long long long high speed drift are possible too.

What i am saying is...

Both are AWESOME!!!!  Pick the one for the track and RIP IT!
