A trip to brisbane...

Getting used to the massive feedback on the direct drive wheels and brakes..

Awesome change... sensory overload. I wouldn't say it's relaxing...

You have to try on every run! You can't be lazy, and you can't crash.

because the penalties are physically harsh...

Good experience... I can recommend this if you have some decent Assetto skills. Beginners may find it tough to learn through the sensory overload.

Mt Warning test.

My first test of Mt Warning Online involves letting the boys loose on a new layout.

I made this track quite large so i can generate some speed...

Even the tight hairpin is actually wider than you think.

The "Circuit" is good for Grip and Drift

Either direction provides a challenge. Big Speeds mean big risks.

But it's not all like that.

A bit of Minami, a bit of Bathurst and a bit of craziness.

Still a lot to do and the width may change.

It's been a good experience to get my first track out there in the next few weeks..

Mt Warning

Been building a track over the last few days...

It's interesting, time consuming and frustrating.

Race Track Builder allows you to do a lot, but the interface could be easier to swap selections.

And some undo... things you can't undo... So the colours Ive got in these pics have been someone uglified by irreversible actions.

Anyway... Im slowly adding detail... need to sort out my pits...

I was sandwiched in the BMW.

Seemed like a decent skill level... in this group;.

about 10-15 laps

of crazy time.

 Great to see my RE-AU 726 Livery out front.

 In fact... i must complete all the ADC liveries for the other cars.

Learning that scale and the default track builder stuff needs some adjustment. IRL, this is scary as the road goes right to the edge... I hope I can recreate that scariness.

this road is wider and is not concave at all. adjustments coming.

But once is sorted and the basic track is OK.

It will be fun!.

Lots of learning... but so far about 4 hours work... has my road ... kind of replicated.

VR... not yet. Virtual yes,.... Reality not yet.
